Mr. Kumano the chairperson of Japan Myanmar Cross Link Association donated 301 antient Buddha statues that worth historic value to Aung Zabu Tawya Temple.
Most. Ven. Pandawontha of the temple was elected as an honorary president of World Alliance of Buddhists (WAB) in September this year. In the same year, he visited Japan from May 15th to 18th for the visit to Kongobuji in Koyasan and Kumano Hongu Taisya. He was explained about the temples by Mr. Kumano and experienced Japanese culture.
